Description:
This continuing education program provides a practical, evidence-based review of contemporary buprenorphine induction strategies, including traditional withdrawal-based initiation, low-dose overlap ("micro-dose") approaches, high-dose ("macro-dose") protocols, and emerging long-acting injectable initiation methods. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of buprenorphine pharmacology, the mechanisms underlying precipitated withdrawal, and how evolving treatment approaches can improve patient outcomes in today's opioid landscape.
