The Safe Opioid Prescribing series consists of 10 online modules, each approximately 30 minutes in length, collectively fulfilling 5 hours CME credit for medical providers and pharmacists. In the first session, June Oliver explores pain from multiple perspectives—examining its meaning and impact on patients, healthcare providers, and society—while also introducing key tools and approaches for effective pain assessment.
