BP is the most modifiable risk factor for reducing stroke and preventing the progression of chronic kidney and cardiovascular disease. Controlling BP requires participation by all the involved health care professionals and patients working together.

2. Describe pathophysiological and evidence based treatments.
3. Outline causes of resistant hypertension and management.
