Create a better understanding of VT's newly passed retail marijuana bill and it's public health implications
VT legalized adult-use cannabis through passing Act 164 in October of 2020
The Cannabis Control Board is the governing body
Municipalities must opt in by vote to allow an adult-use cannabis retailer
Cannabis revenues fund Substance Misuse Programming, but lacks a formal funding mechanism in statute
Vaping products and oils can legally be sold, except for flavored prod that are banned
