ABOUT
The increased legalization of marijuana for medical and recreational purposes has created the impression that marijuana is harmless for adults, including pregnant women. Most dispensaries and online sources support the use of marijuana to reduce morning sickness. However, marijuana, particularly daily use, has significant ill effects on pregnancy, the fetus, and the child's development.

METHOD OF PARTICIPATION:
View the videos and complete the course evaluation. Your online certificate will be saved on myCME Credits within your Profile/CME History, which you can access at any time.

2. articulate the role of the endocannabinoid system (the endogenous cannabinoid system) in brain, the CB receptors & the role of endocannabinoids in early fetal development.
3. know the effects of marijuana on pregnancy, early development of the fetus & long-term effects on offspring cognition, mental health and addiction.
4.know the dose-response nature of the effects of marijuana.
