Description:
ABOUT
Marijuana is used by virtually every stratum of society, and each year, a more significant number of states legalize recreational use. While the general population perceives marijuana use is safe since it is a natural substance, there are some long and short-term consequences of excessive use. These include adverse effects on cognition and mental health since the endocannabinoid system (the endogenous cannabinoid system) is an integral component of brain function, particularly the formation of memories and the stability of the mental state.
