This series is designed to train providers in opioid prescribing best practices through 6 enduring online modules. These modules satisfy the 3-hour requirement in Opioid Safe Prescribing Practices by IDFPR to renew Controlled Substances Registration in Illinois.
In Module 6, Ingrid Lopez, LSCW, CADC discusses overdose prevention options and a Chicago hospital system's approach to the opioid epidemic by increasing the availability of harm reduction in response to rising opioid overdose deaths.

- Explain the steps the of assisting with a possible overdose using naloxone
- List OUD treatments
