This interactive case study follows a 27-year-old woman diagnosed with relapsing multiple sclerosis following an episode of optic neuritis and who subsequently develops significant breakthrough disease while receiving first-line therapy. Through her evolving clinical course, participants will explore how clinical and radiographic findings can identify highly active MS and inform timely treatment escalation. In addition, this case explores evidence-based selection and sequencing of high-efficacy MS disease modifying therapies and examines how shared decision making incorporates patient preferences and goals into a personalized long-term treatment strategy.
